NICEVILLE — The Okaloosa County School District has partnered with the Chambers of Commerce in Crestview, Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Niceville-Valparaiso to launch Support to Soar, a community-driven initiative aimed at ensuring students in Title I elementary schools have the resources they need to succeed.

Support to Soar invites businesses, organizations, and individuals to “Adopt-a-Classroom” with a monthly donation of $100 or a one-time gift of $1,200. Contributions will provide essential classroom supplies and healthy snacks to students at any of the district’s 15 Title I elementary schools.

“Support to Soar is a perfect example of what can happen when a community comes together to invest in its future,” said Superintendent Marcus Chambers in a news release. “We’re grateful to our Chamber partners for standing with our schools and helping meet the needs of our students.”

Participants may select a specific school or classroom to support, with donors receiving recognition for their generosity.
