PENSACOLA, FL — Pensacola Navy Days, an annual event celebrating the area’s military presence, returned this spring with a lineup of community events honoring service members stationed at Naval Air Station Pensacola and across the region.
Organized in part by retired U.S. Navy Capt. Daniel McCort and presented by Navy Federal Credit Union and the Pensacola Ice Flyers, the celebration marks the community’s support of the U.S. military ahead of major milestones. The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps will each commemorate their 250th anniversaries this fall, and NAS Pensacola is preparing to celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2026.
“Navy Days was established to provide the local community with a vehicle to recognize and honor those warriors who have for over two centuries lived and worked among us in times of peace and war,” McCort said in a prepared statement.
