Niceville Police Officers made thirteen arrests for the month of April – according to a report from Niceville Police Chief David Popwell given at Niceville’s city council meeting on May 9th.
A total of thirteen arrests were made – eight for felony crimes and another five for misdemeanors.
Calls for service have also dropped from a high of 4,553 in January.
Data over the last year and a half shows in increase in both calls to Niceville Police Department and arrests made during the cooler months of the year – between November and February.
Niceville Police gave out 183 speeding tickets in the city – and issued another 301 warnings to drivers.
