NICEVILLE – The local nonprofit A Bed 4 Me is marking its tenth anniversary of providing beds to children in the community. The foundation will host a public celebration to commemorate the milestone on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 3rd Planet Brewing in Niceville.
According to a press release from the organization, its first bed delivery took place in Fort Walton Beach on the same date a decade ago. The foundation states it began as a “grassroots effort among a small group of women” and has since grown into an established resource for local families. Its stated mission is to ensure that children have a bed of their own.
The anniversary celebration is open to the public, and the organization has extended an invitation to supporters and community members interested in learning more about its work. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue.
