Mills Heating & Air has announced it will host a charity poker tournament on Saturday, September 19, at Shoreline Church in Destin. The event, which the company is calling the “2nd Annual Aces for Autism,” is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. and will feature a Texas Hold’em tournament.
According to the press release issued through the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce, proceeds from the event will benefit an organization named Advanced Sacred Hope Academy (ASHA). Mills Heating & Air describes ASHA as an academy that serves neurodivergent students. The company claims the event is intended to bring together local business leaders and community members for the fundraiser.
In addition to the poker tournament, organizers state the event will include prize drawings and a “Liquor Pull.” The company is publicly soliciting donations from local businesses and individuals, specifically requesting prizes for drawings and bottles of bourbon or tequila.
